Everyone who has an Arcanist (not everyone, really tongue ) knew: HIS E SUCKS!

The main reason it's a Channeled spell, if you can't channel it then it's useless.

So I have some suggestions here:

And what about his R if you go "Drain" Arcanist early? His Improved R is useless!
Arcanist nearly has no contribution to the team (except the dps, ofc.) beside his Improved T (did anyone take it?) and his Empowered T (not really good because it's only make R deal extra damage to BOSSES).

This makes Arcanist somewhat more valueable as a support. Together with Pyro, Hydro and CK there must be some overpowered damage actually.
Definetly this Drain Spirit you suggest is a really worthy change which must be done if I want to make Arca more mobile. I also suggest removing channeling only after a person will make E fully empowered. Cooldown increasing won't let arca feed himself that much with hp and mp, so at least we won't see high degens, finally.
I also think that spreading Q's debuff must be done as a separate talent which can be learned after R is full imp. That won't bind players to just empowering this R to the limit just to make Q debuff spread. By the way, that's really useful with more than 1 Arcanist in the party!
I'm bringing this to the discussion.

Spread Q's debuff only need imp R because it's optional for more AoE damage, if not, you can just skip it

I am a loyal arcane game player, Austrian law is not so bad, with version 332, in order to cope with the Crypt Fiends and the dog can not point E, extra talent points for advanced QR, actual output is not weak enough to deal with than any other occupation, the highest difficulty under the BOSS, it seems to me that E's vampire use outweigh the harm, such as sea snake P4 stage, E is a very useful skill, if need to change it, I hope to put E skills gradually increased damage to cancel, let E each have a smooth harm, or can increase the number of sucking amount ~ ~

Regarding Ancient Hydra's P4: I did it with a "piano arca" (a build of Arcanist without E and with max Q+R). In many situations, E makes your hero much less mobile.
